A Message From Our President

My theme for this newsletter is volunteer requests. To both the Executive, the members and staff, thank you for a great 2009.  Our members could not have done it without a lot of help.  2010 is off to a good start.  10 new members already so hope the trend continues.  Our secretary, membership chair, 1st vice and poppy chair are heading south in February so you will have to put up with me.  A big thanks to Allan Gallant for the sound system he has donated to keep us up to date in the music world. January has been busy with audits and bank account changes but we hope to have everything set to go for February. the statements are ready for the accountants so hope to have everything on it's way shortly. Happy 50th to Pete and Margaret. I know that is a long time as we're coming up to that point ourselves.Have a few things coming up in the near future so keep the sensor antennas out. Volunteers are alwyas needed. Thanks for your support. Being Ex Navy I,have got to remind every one this is the 100th anniversary year of the Canadian Navy.
