A Message From Our President

  This being the start of a new term, I would like to take the opportunity of welcoming the new Members to the Executive and thank those who stayed on for another term. Each year it seems that it is harder to fill the necessary positions required for the smooth operation of our Legion. This year we managed to get a full slate officers etc but with a membership approaching four hundred I would like to see more members volunteer their time and take on some of the important vacancies left by retiring executive etc. Please consider the future of your Legion.The Monday night jam sessions are going well as is the Darts and Billiards. A few ideas have been made as to what type of entertainment members would like and where possible they will be considered. We still require Entertainment and Kitchen chairpersons; if you are interested please contact a member of your executive.  Please remember we cannot rely on the income from the bar to pay the bills, and we have to find other ways to raise money to meet our expenses. In the past few years several Legion Branches have had to close, please don’t let this happen to us.
